Northern Cyprus Tour
9 night tour with accommodation at the 4* Vuni Palace Hotel
ITINERARY
Day 1- Arrival to the airport, you will be met and Transferred to the Hotel in Kyrenia.
Day 2- Free to relax enjoying the hotel facilities.
Day 3- Round Kyrenia- Visiting two of the great castles, (St Hilarion Castle and Bellapais Abbey) with stunning views along the northern coastline. We return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4- Panhandle with wild life- You will be picked up at 9:00am by an A/C bus to travel you through the old villages under skirt of the Five Finger Mountains Range. Visit the Fisherman’s at the Bogaz village, the fifth century meaningful Mosaics of Sipahi Basilica and the Peaceful Monastery of St. Andrew.
Day 5- Free to relax OR Optional West Coast Trip.
Day 6- Capital of Cyprus ‘Nicosia’- You will be travelling into the capital of northern Cyprus. You will visiti the Selimiye and Arabahmet Mosques, Stonework Museum and the St Sophia Catherdral. See the Whirling Derva Pasha and Cucausion. Return the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7- Full day Famagusta- Visit the Monastery of St. Barnabas. Then you will be driven to Salamis for a visit to this ancient city with its vast marble columns surrounding gymnasium pool and baths. Then you continue onto Famagusta. The old city itself is a warren of small shops, selling local produce, from silver and copper ware to ceramics, fruit and vegetables.
Day 8- Free to relax and enjoy hotel facilities
Day 9- Free to relax Or optional BBQ at Kantara Castle- We take a visit to the Kantara Castle, then continue onto the Yeni Erenkoy village and visit a local house, see how they make the local cheese and have lunch there. You will be then driven to St Andrew’s Monastery on the peninsula. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 10- Transfer back to airport- According to the flight time, your transfer will be arranged for the group to the airport.
