The island enjoys an almost perfect climate, the warmth of Africa tempered by the cooling Atlantic breezes. It has spectacular desert-like scenery, scattered with windmills and little whitewashed houses, plus mile upon mile of untouched sandy beaches. Fuerteventura is the least populated of the Canary Islands, people come for its tranquility and it is therefore no surprise that the nightlife is very low key. However, Fuerteventura has its share of genuinely welcoming bars and restaurants offering some of the best fish dishes to be found in the Canary Islands.

A quiet resort with a lovely crescent shaped, sandy beach. The entertainment is mainly complex based although there is a small selection of bars, shops and restaurants. A great choice for a relaxing holiday. Woburn Sands
