Nothern Cyprus provides the most stunning sceneries from; mountains, beautiful countryside, remote villages and luxurious sandy beaches where life has remained unchanged for centuries. Autumn and Spring are very brief and mild; the tempreture drops quite a lot in the evening. Kyrenia winter tends to fall from December to Febuary there is hardly ever snow but a chance of rain; tempreture doesn’t normally drop below 5 degrees.
Kyrenia is a town on the northern coast of Cyprus known for it’s history. Kyrenia nestles beneath the five finger mountains, it is one of the most picturesque of Mediterranean towns with an impressive Byzantine castles situated next to a spectacular harbour. There is an abundance of restaurants and bars, where you can relax, try the local specialities and watch the world go by.
The 12th Century of Bellapais Abbey and Village are well worth a visit to see the St. Hilarion castle, which is located 2,000 feet above sea level with stunning panoramic views along the entire northern coastline.
