Introduction

The capital of Sweden is also its main attraction, a picturesque city built partly on the mainland and partly on a cluster of islands on the Baltic Sea. The Old Twon, or Gamla Stan, is made up of 3 islands and is home to the Royal Palace, Stockholm Cathedral and the Melditsmuseum, which houses historical reconstructions in its medieval underground tunnels. Stockholm is surrounded by pine woodland and farmland. Picturesque and full of character, it is also one of Europe's cleanest and safest capital cities.

Nordic Sea Hotel

Located next to the central station, the Nordic Sea Hotel offers guests inspiration and relaxation. The decor inside the hotel is simple and refined, warm and welcoming. Guestroom interiors reflect the elegant simplicity found throughout the hotel. During your stay a visit to its famous Absolut-Icebar is a 'must do'. Open all year round with temperatures maintained at a steady -5 degrees Celsius, the long bar, tables, walls, sculptures and drinking glasses are made completely, 100% out of ice. This is a unique experience to enjoy a selection of vodka cocktails, whilst wrapped up in warm thermal clothing (provided).
